Rebeka and Lucy Ormsby with Vogue Editor, Edwina McCann by Stacey Hendrickson

Featured in The Advertiser, following the exciting Adelaide Fashion Festival 2017 Program Launch!

AUSTRALIAS’s fashion bible is coming to the City of Churches for this year’s Adelaide Fashion Festival.

For the first time, Vogue Australia is part of the AFF program with a “festival within the festival”.

To be held over two days — October 13 and 14 — the Vogue Festival in Rundle Mall and Rundle St will be launched by the face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins. It will include runway shows, giveaways and styling sessions.

The magazine’s editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, who was here for Monday night’s AFF program launch at the Art Gallery of South Australia, said it would be “bigger and bolder” than the Fashion Night Out events in Sydney and Melbourne and give shoppers a VIP experience.

Ms McCann expected the Vogue Festival and AFF, which runs October 11 to 15, to attract interstate visitors.

Describe your idea of a perfect day:
Waking up super early after a good night’s sleep, watching the sunrise, going out for brunch with a friend or two, maybe an afternoon nap, and then dinner at home with my family.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Auf Uns by Andreas Bourani.

What’s something in your hometown you think every visitor should do or see?
Definitely go to the Cleland Wildlife Park.

What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I don’t like chocolate.

I think just by looking at Beck you can see what makes her so special, with her high cheekbones, far spaced big brown eyes and plump lips – she’s a magazine editor’s or designer’s dream. But what I love most about Beck is her easy going nature and quirky fun personality – she’s always so much fun to have on set.
